I am trying to figure how this may play out with PASE:
RIM ordered a set of pads 19169634, which supersedes to 19428032, then "Cancel not eligible for sale" immediately follows. Call SPAC to check if old part number can somehow be SPRINTed; of course not. The agent then proceeds to inform me the new part number is only available from an authorized Delco distributor. I replied "I need to get this from my ADI?", to which she said "Yes."
The new # is not RIM controlled, but will I need to file an exception for purchase/sales loyalty since GM no longer provides this set of pads? Probably. I am going to have to get with the PASE help desk.
My ADI does not have the new #, but the SPAC agent said " The vendor shows stock" (oops! she said the quiet part out loud!). I am just going to order a set of the old # from the ADI. They can't take away my birthday. (childish, I know..........)
