Seems if you have a new PM that gets suckered in to this, they are on the hook for twelve months and trying to sell these parts to IRFs. IRFs are using the numbers to shop around because it doesn't take a genius...
If in general parts managers are undertrained in money management, it is easy to push these programs and have virtual total control over every aspect of the department.
We are merely filling the human aspect of the department. Computers and algorithms set to GM priorities and little else (little dealer input or benefit) are what controls our businesses.
