CSO SWEEPS

The Hudson PDC (030) announced that as of 03/16 they will no longer be doing CSO sweeps for late CSO orders. Did all of the PDC's do this, or just, 030?

Martinsburg did it too...

"On 3/20/2023 Sweeps will be eliminated. This has to do with too many dealer putting their order after their cut off time, which causes all routes to back up. Moving forward we ask that all dealer place orders before your cut off times to insure your order are in and on time. If you do not know your cut off time please contact the PDC to get the accurate time."

Attention Parts Managers:

As of Thursday March 16, 2023, the Cincinnati PDC will no longer be processing orders through the CSO Sweeps process. This is a program designed to handle one – off orders for dealerships that had the need arise after normal cut off times. The increasing high volume of parts ordered at the later “emergency” cut-off caused unavoidable throughput issues. Without the inefficiencies, service will see an immediate improvement in the timeliness and quality of deliveries.

As of Friday 3-17-23, General Motors will no longer be processing Service Lane Orders. CSO/DRO orders will be pulled at your regular cutoff times.

I did call and double check my true cut off time, 1pm.

So I did make sure to ask very clearly, So if we order after 1pm from 51, we will not get parts next day? He said correct.

ours is 3:30 out of Chicago so no big issue here

051 (Martinsburg) is my Admin PDC and I have been putting my orders in the same time as I always have even since the message came out. Between 3p.m. - 4p.m. and I have had no issues getting my parts the following day.

I still think the "actual" cutoff time is 5p.m. but we will see what happens as time goes on I suppose.

I'll post here if anything changes on my end.
