Update: Sounds like they are going to be changing this part to a new number (Come on GM get your head out of your butt) 19436113. From what I was told, there is like 200+ SPAC cases on it already. Why am I not surprised?

Since this found its way back to the top and I see people talking about the new expensive number:

have 5 of these backordered, prepaid out of warranty.

Cost when I had the part prepaid--> 252-258
Cost of 12691147 --------------------> 308.44
Cost of sub 19436113 ----------------> 1506.35

about to scour over the policies and procedures to see if I have any sort of recourse. But the price of the part increased 500%? Ridiculous.

Let me know if any of you have any advice on how you would handle the situation.

Finally got the right person with DPAC. For anyone else who might get this:

in GCC search bar "Spac Policy Adjustment"

Open PDF for "up assembly process" Different for warr/cp.

Follow steps to receive credit. Must be done within 40 days of shipment. Mine took about 20 days, but I got my credit for the difference.

I was just about to suggest asking about the up price thing because I had to do that myself on a few of my orders recently.
