Thanks again. Is the type 01 return only special order return or RIM as well? Also, the purple stickers I have for this next one have a bottom and top sticker, one is the regular one then the bottom says container label. Do I need to separate these or just put the whole thing on the parts going back? Thank you!

01 will be for all of the regular returns that you will use your material returns balance $ for.
A CSO Return is a MR 11 return that you can use on special order up until 365 days since the part has shipped but you pay a 35% fee.
Your return label...Only peel the top part of the label with the part # on it and stick it on the box near the original part tag. The control break tag you can stick the entire thing on either the tote if its going in one of the part box itself.

The bottom portion of the tag marked container label , I put on a manila shipping tag and wire tie it to each bin going back.

Ok guys I THINK last question. I got all my paperwork for my returns on the RIM return. Some apps are a code W on the application number, some are H. Aren't they both suppose to be sent back? What's the difference? Also, I have one for type F which I know is a field scrap. Obviously just toss those? Thanks again, sorry about the elementary questions.

Yes. W and H both need to be returned. The F's are field scrap. Not sure exactly what the W and H stand for. I am guessing a way for the PDC's to separate them when they get them back.

I see them listed on our monthly field scrap paperwork. H is for Hold, T is for transfer, and I think W is DS CCRC

when you all order special order parts that need to go back- how often is it a type 01 vs 11? I know you only have so much return reserve but how often (%) are you able to use type 01 and not take the 35% hit?

thanks, once again

Type 01 can be used if you have the $ in your reserve.
11 can only be used on parts shipped 365 days or less but you'll get whacked the 35%.
I would say 60% of my returns are RIM; 30% are 01 and 10% are 11.

Just put the 9 digit number on the next green tag you have. The system will put the numbers on each of the cores you are returning. Just need to have enough of the green labels for every core. I don't ever put info in the notes field on cores.
