The same tech(s) need to be doing the complete LOF/Rotate/MPVI on the same vehicle on the same lift(s) and these should be hourly techs with incentives! The situation that you have going on now is a complete
waste of service dept productivity, proficiency and resources. This situation is also hurting your customer service and retention. If a customer has to wait 2-3 days for an oil change that itself is completely unacceptable in today's busy society. People want convenience because their time is valuable and granted they might be coming back because the first 2 oil changes are free but they will never return again for and oil change or
other service work when they have to pay for it because you are inconvenient for them! Today's society is all about convenience and time so if they are waiting 2-3 days to get scheduled in and then they wait for more than 1 hour while the car is in the shop they will grow even more angry at your service dept hence you are seeing that at the cashier window. Your service dept. is creating very bad customer service with the current situation!
I would highly advise that you make changes and those changes need to be made yesterday.

At my store we have 2 dedicated quick service bays each one has a 2 post lift. These bays handle all LOF/Rotate/MPVI vehicles and other quick service repairs such as bulbs, tire plugs.2 techs work in these bays - 1 bay per tech and they help each other if one gets slow or behind. 20-24 LOF's per day is produced in these 2 bays on average. On days where the schedule is slow then the upsells that the lube techs find such as fluid flushes will be done in these bays if time permits otherwise on busy days those services go into a regular service repair bay.
This situation works great at our store however you are going to have to tweak your situation to find something that works better than what you are doing now.
Hope this helps!
