Not a battery, not an airbag (or related), does not contain gasoline or refrigerant residue. not a shock or strut. So i would say NO not hazmat. However you do need to completely drain the radiator and cooler parts then seal them so they don't leak. If you suspect you will get leakage, wrap that portion with some diapers.

Once again, I go back to something I said previously. The WPC should flag any parts that would be considered to be hazardous, that would give us a heads up at least. They deal with it on a regular basis when they are requesting parts back. Just my opinion. Then again I am only a Parts Manager working for a GM dealer.

Since they know what parts are considered HAZMAT or not. It would only seem logical that they would share this vital information with the intended shipper. However, realize who we are talking about, and when have they ever decided to make processes easier for us?
