Anyone closing due to corona?

UAW called for a 2 week shutdown with the big 3 for production and warehouse operations. GM ford and FCA asked for 48 hours to develop a plan and that 48 hours is up this afternoon. The articles I have seen said the UAW and big 3 are meeting this afternoon to discuss what will happen going forward.

I saw this on their web page, and it sounds like they are leaning toward the two week shutdown. Nice of them NOT to mention this in their Chevrolet Leadership Message yesterday.

We are not closing until we are mandated to do so. Hell, I think 3 people here have already had it anyhow.

We are in central Fl also. no word from our owner at all. I think the word from the government is what would have us close, our owner is the mayor.

We had a record month last month and we are off to smashing it this month. We have been slammed here in NE Oklahoma. I do find it odd that my DSM had my sales data pulled to
see if any of my needs may fall into the Generals new QPO promotions....lol

We got our first case in polk county yesterday.

We went from being open until 9pm on Tues/Thurs to only being open to 8pm for now...Yippy! I was pushing for 7pm or earlier.

A dealer group close to us shut down their evening and Saturday hours and is strictly M-F open - 5pm right now.

Another really big group laid off 4% of their employees so far

Scary times. Hang in there everybody and stay healthy.

There was some news late yesterday that the UAW proposed a two week shut down. That did not happen but we did agree to somethings that will affect our assembly plants but should not affect our PDC’s at this time. We will keep you posted as we continue to monitor the situation.

Also please keep me posted if you have to close or are going to close either by choice or due to the infection.
