With that: last week we were missing an alternator, which showed we signed for it from FedEx 7/23. Trying to track it down GM said FedEx accidentally delivered it to an AutoZone in Pennsylvania. Put in an OVN order, per PDC suggestion and 3 minutes later, our FedEx guy hands the first one to me. NO SH!T! Tried to cancel, nothing doing. Even with all the documentation of the activity, can't even apply for the OVN charges reimbursement.

Just remember GM values your business and appreciates your patience as we work through these trying times. LOL That Great GM Feeling is not that great anymore.

Sounds about the same for us Canadian dealers trying to get parts out of the US. Pre strike/pre covid Our guideline to customers was 5-7 days and normally that was normally accurate. Now I simply tell them it'll show when it does...wait for the call. We look like idiots.

Doesn't help that our US shipments go to 2 Canadian PDC's before being delivered here. And we have zero tracking other than it "shipped" which 9/10 is bullshit anyways.

I am so sorry to hear some car company is worse than GM. Now GM will have to try harder to regain it's rightful place.
