Nope, sorry. It was a vehicle care catalog from 2010. I happen to have an old P&P manual from 2000 and it does not mention the rustproofing. It does however have the Goodwrench exhaust policies and the GM Cellular Telephone Warranty! Remember the BagPhones? We had one in our parts delivery van.

We didn't get into the bag phones - no cell service in our area at that time. I did know a dealer that did very well with them - back in the day.

We did do Goodwrench exhaust. We were one of the largest in northeastern Indiana. At the height of the program we had nearly $10k of exhaust in stock. Keep in mind this was just mufflers and pipes - no converters. It took up serious space. We used to get a $5.00 pack of McDonalds gift certificates for each muffler sold. It was nothing for me to have $150-$200 worth in my desk. We got so sick of McDonalds that we actually gave them to sales staff. Of course when GM killed that program we were left with all those warranties. To say that was bad is a huge understatement. We dealt with that program for years and years.

Of course thinking back maybe GM was actually - physically - trying to kill us off with those free lunches. When that didn't work they tried other ways to close us down. We are still here!!!
