You nailed it Zepp. One of those "Tier 3 or 4" dealers that GM gets down on its knees for.
Long story out there about 75 percent of the population being on 2 1/2 percent of the land and the question, Where would you prefer to be when it all goes downhill? You would be amazed at how many "corporate clowns" replied "with the 75%".
Absolutely amazing the total lack of foresight. Look at what you failed to support and lets watch you eat those worthless dollars, I think I'll go fishing. And you know they are still to dumb to realize what was just said!!!!

ELEVEN HUNDRED. Amazing. I ordered 60 of these for our "lot" vehicles, yeah a day earlier than the bulletin said to, but still didn't get 'em. Then they cancel all of our customer orders. And the SPAC cases too, don't forget that slick trick, I never will. These BigWig Dealers get advance notice of bulletins from their DSM's and it's hush-hush. It's B.S. but that's life... One day it will even out!

The hold up on parts is that a new fix is coming out. A bulletin should be realeased in the next couple of days!

Let's assume (I know, I know) this recall is like all the others - it will take months for parts to be available. Inspected the seat belt buckle and all is OK, the only part required is the rework kit. By the time the parts arrive the buckle may need replaced due to additional use. Are we going to make the customer return again for another inspection?

Many of these people have been in several times already. Coolant / Water pump....Air Bag Connectors....Reprogramming

I ordered 20 this morning and it wrote to 001

Also had a customer call today saying he got an email that his recall parts were in. We didn't have any on order for him and we don't email customers that their parts are in. Wonder if it came from GM. I didn't talk to the guy to be able to find out where the email came from

We placed nearly 40 special orders prior to noon eastern today. Each order was one line for quantity of 1. All wrote to PDC 088.

You all remember PDC 088 - it was in the original Wizard Of Oz. It is located at the end of the yellow brick road. Just across the street from the end of the rainbow. And yes shipping will be handled by Dorothy in that hot air balloon. She will "drop" them off when the wind brings her (and the balloon) directly over your dealership. Maybe tomorrow, maybe next week, next month, who knows. Just keep clicking your heals and saying "I really want my parts."

Last week we finally receive notification that one of the tensioners we required for a sold used unit billed to plant 075. 4 days later we never received it - called SPAC, wouldn't talk about recall part. Insisted this was shipping issue not recall issue. Order was researched and determined it had been LOST in the plant somehow. Advised to reorder. Part had been on order since June 2. We are now at the end of the line again. Oh yea, sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Well Dammit Drapp, I was always told 088 was in East Outer Mongolia and they shipped via dog sled around the Horn.
Whats up with that????????
