I think the unclear business model meant a couple of drunken morons sitting at the bar one night wrote some crap down on a napkin and passed it in the next morning

You mean like RIM Purchase loyalty? That wasn't from a drunken night, that was from someone with an Ax to grind.

Now, I'm not sure about the rest of the DMS's but on Automate, there is a setting that you can adjust the % of markup for any part that does not have a published list price. I have mine set at 200% so whenever this takes place, we will have a list price to work off here. We all know this will affect far more than bodyshop orders as half the stuff on their original lists were parts we use everyday here in our own shop and I refuse to pay more fees to be able to price things out so 200% it is. I don't do enough GM body orders aside from our own contracted shop for this to bother me too much. Good luck to the wholesale whores though

Good question - is that a typo or will they be somehow integrating the 2 programs?

Yeah, new simplified pricing. 50 bucks more for crap we don't want or need. They say they listened to dealer feedback, I told them they were already too overpriced for what they are actually offering. I like the parts locator but that's about it. OEConnection is just a big ol rip-off imo. Wish there was another source we could get a locator only from.

I'd say the telephone but they already charge us $75 a month each to pay their phone bills too
