As it should. I assume most (if not all) stores have a little thing called the "gross profit transfer". So, IMHO, Service has been getting theirs for years.

As I always said, a GM Parts Manager with a pen is mightier than the Service Department!!

Thanks, I do have to ask though, whats the incentive for the service department at all then?

These programs that GM have come up with such as SLP and PACE actually replaced the standard parts discounts that we used to get. So technically it makes since that the rewards should stay in the parts department. It just sucks that now we need to rely on service to help us get the monies we deserve.
