If I was an air controller, I wouldn't want to work in a war zone either

For me, the funniest ever customer problem description was when I was a service manager for a motorcycle dealer. The complaint was, "Bike goes putt putt instead of vroom vroom. "

I don't know which is worse honestly, the poor spelling or tickets like the one I found this morning. Line 1 is assigned op code for SES light on. Then complaint just says "advise". No comments from customer, no info for the tech about is it always on or intermittent or anything of the like. I also see many tickets where the complaint simply says "See Charlie". That will help so much in the future when looking at vehicle history. I am so sick of poorly written repair orders and nonexistent stories from the techs on the back.

And for the ADP users, How about looking for an invoice for a core credit only to find the customer with 8 vehicles of parts and sevice history is now transfered to a new walk in service customer, because we just grabbed a number out of the air. Garbage in - garbage out. Now the old cust has no vehicles or history because the new guy has it. What a mess to fix but at least it can be.
