I am the Parts Dept. Manger for Quirk Chevrolet in Manchester. Yes we have an E-bay store, it's run by our wholesale division. We do not sell recall parts on that web site. I will definitely be looking into this in the morning.

As you can see I am a new member to this site however I have been reading it for a long time. I am in the same boat on recall parts as everyone else. I will go as far as to leave my direct phone # here if anyone wishes to call me on this 603-263-4917

At least yours ended a week ago and no more were relisted - maybe someone stopped them. The same buyer bought all 5 of them.

Interesting too that both sellers listed nothing but the part # and no description whatsoever. Obviously fishing for desperate dealers since no one else would know what the hell it was

Our GM Rep told us that Ebay was a restricted site for GM Parts. This might spur an investigation to shut down a lot of Dealership eBay stores.

I'm sure that 3-4 dollars made on each of them after shipping and fees made it all worth it

The dealer in texas was selling them for $16.99 with free shipping. At a cost of $9.31 + 1.70 in fees + .50 or so in paypal fees + $2.00 or so to mail them = pure stupidity since warranty pays $13.03 with no extra effort

You guys also currently have more than (10) 23237274, (6) 23237270, and more than (10)23234399, ignition switch recall kits for sale right now

with 13,000+ items for sale right now, it appears that an outside source may be to blame for this. Is a 3rd party possibly just putting your inventory on Ebay automatically? That would make sense

As promissed I did look into this when I got here this morning. The seat belt recall parts were confirmed then the E-bay sale was stopped and refunded. The parts never shipped. As far as the rest of the site and the listings we are going over them.

see my post above yours - if you are using a 3rd party to do your listings by pulling your inventory data, you might want to make a few adjustments to it. Especially if field scrap ends up getting listed before you delete it from inventory. I know GM has a team looking specifically for those things (not by experience though LOL)

I'm thinking this was all an innocent error and I apologize for my douchebag comment.

No worries, I had actualy looked on E-bay yesterday to see who was selling recall parts.
I have heard of and am not worried about the people looking for field scrap, anything I have signed off on has been handled correctly.

Didn't they say they were going to start automatic shipments on the 17th at 11:59PM - of course that made no sense but later on in same bulletin, they said June 18th. Nothing showed up here today - did any one else get any more yet? I'm really looking forward to getting my allotted qty of 1
