Now I have a customer who had to buy a key because he lost his. This was a few weeks ago. Well his recall parts finally arrived and now that he has 2 new keys, he wants a refund for the key he bought before we did the recall. He says the recall says that he gets free keys for life. This is going to be fun. Told him no, that was before the recall, and it doesn't say anything about refunding previous purchases on keys.

I'd give him the 800 number for GM CAC and tell him they have a fund for paying out customer satisfaction claims. It's $500 towards a new car.

Finally got to a computer which would allow me to change the macros settings, found only one listed for our BAC. Pulled the paperwork , sent it all out yesterday. Then opened up the warranty window on GlobalConnect this morning, only to find a request in there, for the very same thing!

Called WPC, and there is a recording about that, and it gives another phone number to call in order to have the request backed out.

I should be thinner jumping through all these hoops.....

Denise; I never called WPC, Did a live chat on Global Connect and they backed me up on what I did. Printed all info on duplicate return request and a copy of the original bulletin and sent it all UPS to Scott Fricker as listed on the bulletin. I will let GM sort it out, what the hell, they created the problem by putting the bulletin out in the first place. Cart before the horse as usuall!!~!

I dont recall this being discussed already...

Has anyone else noticed the "special instructions" when printing the UPS shipping label that says we are supposed to mark the shipping label with the letters "IS" (as in "I"gnition "S"witch) to assist them in sorting the packages ?? And this is to be done in a red marker.

Hmmm... me thinks this is the secret code. I am betting that they don't even open the boxes.

They have to open them with us. I write on the package " Packing Slip Enclosed". Still I have actually had them call me a request the paperwork. I tell them it's in the package, and they want it faxed anyway. That really has to be a well orginized class act!!!!!
