Warranty Labor Rate Increase

Warranty Labor Rate Increase

Postby lochstein » Wed Mar 16, 2016 2:21 pm

Hello-

We are looking to get a warranty labor rate increase; has anyone here used a 3rd-party company to mine the data in your ROs, or have you found a way in your DMS to select ROs that meet your manufacturer's criteria? We are Toyota/ADP.

Thanks!

Toyota requires a worksheet detailing 30 customer pay repair orders -- in consecutive order -- with some operations, Toyota Care, Warranty, and Service Contracts "thrown out" ... but all 200 - 300 repair orders in the range being considered must still be submitted.

Then Toyota will review and decide yes or no and how much. EBIS has provided the repair order analysis for us, we review, get them to adjust as needed and then use that as the submittal basis.

EBIS was sending us monthly emails advising as whether it is advantageous for us to do so or not. Toyota is the most labor intensive of all the manufacturers.

It works very well for us as my warranty rate is the same as my door rate.
