Have a customer vehicle that needs this hitch. Ordered CSO and the order cancelled with the message this part has to be ordered DRO or stock. So I ordered it DRO and the part back ordered. So I tried to upgrade to CSO so I can make it a SPAC case. Cannot upgrade. Does any of this make sense?

The trailer hitches have been arriving for me in 2 business days. Sucks but it beats the heck out of valve covers, which I've still yet to get any of.

They won't ship them OVN because of the expense..... think about it, the same hitch with bolts and a pigtail is what $200? Since GM is footing the bill it's under $75.

Order them DRO and watch them sit. I have about 10 on hand right now.

This is just another example of the stupidity coming out of Detroit.

Let's cancel your order because it's a CSO.

Let's force you to only order OVN.

Let's force you to only order one at a time for a massive recall.

And on and on and on................

GM SPO continues to be run into the ground by a bunch of tools whose only dealership experience is taking their car in for an oil change.

I can understand not allowing it to be made a SPAC case and having overnight fees, but why only order DRO or stock. GM sent the letter telling the customer to come in for repairs. I order recall parts as CSO because the dealer has an obligation to do recalls in a timely manner and ordering the parts as stock doesn't fulfill that obligation. GM already doesn't allow valve covers to be made a SPAC case, so what is the logic behind only ordering DRO.
