Just trying to figure out where you guys put the .3 that GM pays us for the WPC returns. My accounting dept. is applying to the 680 account. Does this sound correct?

I apply to 680.

I know it shouldn't add up to a whole lot either way, but crediting 687 or 680 puts it into gross, and generally commissions come out of that. However crediting an expense account like 33F or 77F would put it to the bottom line.

Sorry folks, I get paid on NET, and I'm always focused on that, sometimes to a fault. I have my warehouse (non-commission) guys handle these returns.

Ours goes into 06906. It's an Outside service parts account that gets credited to our profit.

Wouldn't that be a Body Shop account? 06907 should be the Parts account.
