ANYONE ELSE HAVING TROUBLE WITH THE PF48 FILTERS NOT SEALING? WE DIDNT HAVE ANY THAT WERE ON THE RECALL ABOUT A MONTH AGO. WE HAVE RECIEVED ALL OF WHAT WE ARE HAVING TROUBLE WITH WITHIN THE LAST MONTH. WE HAVE HAD 4 HERE AND OUR SISTER STORE HAS HAD 6 OR 7. FILTERS ARE ON TIGHT BUT THE SEAL STILL DRIPS

We went through a bunch of PF48 and PF63's last year coming back leaking. We still get one here and there. GM issued a bulletin thru Service about tightening specs and instructions, but that didn't matter, we know how to install filters. They never admitted to a parts problem, but they did call back a batch of date codes on PF63's last month, but most of ours had already been installed. That means there was [i]something[i] wrong with them but we don't know what.

But like I said, this issue started with us at least a year ago.

Ditto, ditto, ditto. Still have some 48s and 63s coming back leaking--one just last week actually. We write up a parts warranty ticket and they pay every time. We just make sure to drain and bag the filter as well as possible in case they call it back.

A couple weeks ago there was a Special Return for some of those filters based on the DAY CODE. Check your messages. if you can find them.
