Just wanted to give everyone a heads up on these. According to SI they are supposed to be replaced on every brake job done on a Cruze we have been doing it for a long time. I know some of you stock them but not everyone, you may want to consider stocking these. This is a CYA thing for everyone. Just another job that GM should have notes added to the catalog for everyone. SI states on 2010-2013 you must replace the caliper bracket bolts. Remove and DISCARD the brake caliper bracket bolts (1). Just had an update from another tech, he does not remove the bracket when he puts pads on and when you do it that way you do not need to replace the bolts. If you remove the bracket then you must replace the bolts.

This is another case where if required , they should be packaged with the pads. Especially when they charge what they do. Anytime special bolts, fasteners, gaskets, stretch bolts are required, they should come packaged with the part, and price accordingly. Most moldings for a long time now come with clips, as well they should.

THANK YOU!!! I realize SI states to hinge the caliper upward to R&I the pads, but if you're turning/replacing rotors as well, definitely add these in the estimate!!
