Do you sell below GM trade price to mechanical repair shops?
If so, why and how do you calculate, and quote pricing?
ReyRey has limitations on fields to display for counter inquiry, so which field do you use?
Do you modify Trade in 2323 or use another field?

I have one of the largest wholesale parts department in the Midwest just miles away. They sell at 10% over and have a fleet of delivery trucks, so we have given up on wholesale. If by chance we get a call, it's COST+40%.

If its a competitive part with the aftermarket, such as a delco items, switches, modules, fuel pumps etc, and a good independent customer we will go as low as cost plus 20% but normally cost plus 25% gets us close to aftermarket. All of the items dorman now offers we don't even try to compete anymore, You know, the parts that used to be dealer only parts, fobs, airbag sensor, door handles , window regulators, and that list goes on forever. trade only on these items.

cost +15. cost +20. cost +25. Metro Detroit is very competitive and an AC Delco distributor(Rowerdink) sells at cost or just above and they service all of my customers.
