22989959 EXP VAVLVE

2015 Silverado illustration of the evaporator core shows the expansion valve, but says NS use evaporator core. Group 9213 shows expansion valve. Called partec and was told the expansion valve is a good number for the truck. Hopefully he will get the catalog fixed. Most of the younger parts people don't use the group just the illustrations.

If they were like us and learned the groups from the paper catalogs, they would know the expression "never trust the picture"

Also, if you pull up engineering notes on global, it shows that expansion valve number as being a component of the evaporator part number 22808919.

I too apologize for the sarcasm. I see item #29 in the illustration as NS , but going to the bottom of the page I see Kit1 PN 22989959. Don't know if they just changed that today, but that's what I see.

My biggest pet peeve when parts look-up seems confusing, it usually is just as bigmac has stated.

~ gt likes the illustrations but knows better.
