Has anyone else had the pleasure to try to order a windshield for one of these?

I ordered part# 39079179, which has engineering notes that state "PART NUMBER 39079179 WINDSHIELD ASSEMBLY IS A VALID PART NUMBER."
That number changes to a 39090505 and refers to direct ship. The direct ship answer-back says "FUTURE PART - NO YET AVAILABLE".
The bad thing is it doesn't actually backorder so i can't make a SPAC case on it. I call SPAC. They tell me 39090505 will be changing to 39094343.

So, my "valid " number is not valid, a FUTURE PART - NO YET AVAILABLE part is already changing numbers before it is even available and I have to call SPAC and have them force a SPAC case for this thing.

Did I mention that last time we ordered one of these it took 3 times to finally get one that wasn't broken?

Whatta way to make a living.

Just wait till RIM gets ahold of it and tells you to stock all three!

Honestly tho, I feel for you. We all do, that's the sad part.

I could kind of understand if it was some sort of oddball car. But a Cruize? Really?

I wish these direct ship parts would just backorder like a regular part. Then we could just make a SPAC case online and go on to the next fiasco.
One can dream, I guess.
