Did anyone see the 2016 fall DFOAB face to face meeting recap? I can’t think of anything filled with downright gibberish…….”Ongoing work is being completed to introduce “high capability” DDS providers. GM is focused on implementing providers with high DDS net promoter scores based on last year’s Carlisle benchmarking study. What the hell does that mean? You would think that everything was fine and no worries. Notice how everything that was wrong is always someone else’s fault and those list of accomplishments…….OH BOY
Systems and Communications……

2016 Accomplishments
Global Connect timeout session extended
Successful launch of Next Generation Electronic Parts Catalog (EPC)
Identification in the EPC of modules that need programming

Really????? Successful launch of the next gen EPC catalog. GIVE ME THE OLD GEN CATALOG.. The one that worked!

Supply Chain
2016 Accomplishments
Visibility IT initiative – Shipment status
Visibility IT initiative – Backorder ETA
Improve quality, reduce damage Public Cross Dock Standardization
Less than Truckload (LTL) quality improvements

Improve communication regarding recall and high-impact part issues / resolution timing
Monitor/adjust network capacity, in line with growth
Pursue distribution of sectioned panels
Visibility at ordering that oversized Service Lane Parts are not eligible for overnight delivery (Parts Catalog, Parts Workbench) – Q4 2016 implementation

I must have missed when they fixed these enough to call them accomplishments.

We live in an alternate UNIVERSE………YIKES

I just read all of that Corporate spiel about THEIR planning and resolutions of THEIR issues, not OURS.
I think the only item they addressed from the DFOAB was damage on large sheet metal. The rest was all them patting themselves on the back, just like one of those National "Fall" meetings we use to go to.

It's just like another picture we see everyday. The "Powers that Be" and The "Rest of Us in The Real World" see something entirely different. I read the DFOAB and I do not see much progress on any solutions.

It's at least an hour now.

Wow, it probably took two minutes to fix that one.

I have a box that pops up with a timer asking me to click OK to remain logged in. Only problem is you have to be in front of terminal when the box pops up........They just don't get it :(

Toyota gives a 10 minute warning with a time stamp when you are going to get logged out.

And if you do get logged out, it takes 5 seconds to get back in because they actually allow you to save your username and password.
