Hey all,

I'm a fairly new part manager with my dealer ship first off. Secondly, I was researching with RIM as to why my dealer sales loyalty struggles to stay above 90%. I came across that the part number 19293000 for dexos 5w30 is not recognized on my dealer sales loyalty due to me being on the bulk oil program l. So I called my rep hours ago and still have yet to get back with me on which part number is should be using for rim to recognize it and stop hitting me on that one. Anyone run across this before? I'm thinking I should use 19293002 which is the gallon part number for dexos 5w30 since my bulk is billed in gallons. Thanks for any help I can get!

88865638 and you should be billed on your GM invoice under this number.

It was 19293002 up until a few months ago.

What part # are you being invoiced for?
Put the oil in your inventory as the part # you are being billed for and change the prices in your DMS to reflect the cost per quart so it is correct when you bill it out on a repair order or invoice.
Depending on your DMS (I use Auto/Mate) you should be able to select a setting that gives you the option to not change the prices with an update. That way you can keep the price per quart in your system you will just have to make sure the cost is correct when you get invoiced for the part #.

We use the bulk option 2 part number for the NEW dexos full synthetic oil. 88865639 is the bulk gal part number but you have to adjust the pricing for the quantities you dispense it at. We price it and dispense it at the half quart and the purchase loyalty regime leaves us alone.....

We are on the option 2 with no discounts and mine is under the 88865639 number per gallon. I Just break the cost down to quarts and have no problem.
