CDK Drive

Postby dmaths » Wed Nov 16, 2016 6:24 pm

I'm new to CDK drive. I have a dumb question.
When I create a stock order in IRE, how do I get the order into DCS to transmit it to the manufacturer?

thank you for the help

DCS
ORD
DTR
pick CSO, DRO, or QPO
enter control number
enter advise code (1 for stock order)
hit return a couple of times to get to next page
enter control number again at #2 YOU MUST PUT THE LETTER "O" in front of your control number
enter one of the following for the order type

N = New stock order
C = Customer order
S = Supplemental order

hit enter to get to next screen where it should show number of lines on order
enter your username and then password and order should go through
after it goes through follow the directions to see answerbacks

Don't forget to hit the Finalize button in IRE so you can do what Tim says. ;)

Pretty sure different manufactures use different ways to transfer

We use SST in Toyotaland - CDK made it pretty easy for us

Open us a case with CDK and ask them how to transmit orders
