Why can't our monthly update from gm on our inventory of tires reflect the correct prices? The tire vendor we work with website always has the correct prices. When is gm going to correct this monthly mess.

Their excuse is that parts pricing is provded to the DMS providers several weeks before the end of month. They don't get the discount pricing from the tire mfg until the last minute.
I too claim B.S. I think it's a pain in the rear to go thru this list. Granted we only stock about 40 sets but that's a lot of tires to manually check every month. Plus it screws up the non-stock special orders as well. The Service Advisors quote off the GM Tire website and if my guys just order the tire by part number we bill them out wrong and the Advisors flip out or we overcharge and have to refund customers.
I'm sure you all have similar problems and I blame GM!

There's no reason they can't just wait until the following month to have the specials so everything matches. They're just too stupid to figure it out.
At least they don't raise the prices mid month, or have they started doing that too?

I think they could just as well update our inventory online. They do everything else, RIM, Service sales reporting and penetration, purchase loyalty, sales loyalty, catalog updates online, why not tire pricing? Or just send ReyRey etc another disc when these numbers are announced. But no, I have to manually re-price all the popular numbers one at a time, especially my inventory of almost 200 tires.
Modern technology at its worst.
