2017 National Program - Battery Price Increase

We received notification from our WD today that effective Feb 1 most of the batteries will see a 5% price increase. We just finished changing all the prices to fit the 2017 National Program. Some of the batteries have virtually no profit ($5.00) at all. Now we have to absorb a cost increase.
No wonder some in the auto industry are saying dealership profits are not what they should be. On the fixed side it seems we give most back to the General in the form of subscriptions / fees / program costs, etc.
Thoughts?
What am I missing?

I remember the first year they ran that crap program there were a few batteries that had less than $1.00 profit for the first few months until they did some type of adjustment and put new labels on them
