Hello everyone, I have 2 1/2 days left before my big day. What are some good last minute reports to run and go over? Thanks!

tidy up the cores and special orders... those are typically hand-writes and the more humans are involved, the more chance for errors.

identify part numbers for the tires, they can be confusing.

reduce multiple bin locations for fast moving parts.

make sure all the items on display have part numbers.

prepare packing slips, open credits, etc... (this maybe the most important of all)

~ gt had a nightmare about inventory last night !!

Have you asked the RIM help desk to shut off the download for a few days in order to completely reconcile? Sometimes it is helpful so your quantities adjust properly for RIM.

MY LAST MINUTE INVENTORY TOP FIVE ITEMS IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE

    1) Verify That the Office has Posted all Documents including the received oils
    2) Print bin-checks and only verify that items are in their proper location and order
    3) Eliminate Negative On-Hand and verify postings
    4) Have copies of all reconciliation documents: cores, returns, prepaid invoices, consignment, damage/shortage claims, etc.
    5) Walk the department with the staff looking for issues while taping off no-count areas

Yours may be different but in my experiences these items gave me the shortest inventory times with the best reconciliations. I would love to hear what helps for you and speeds up your PI day as I just took over a doozy of a multi-line facility.
