Sales Loyalty

Sales Loyalty

Postby LOKI1 » Mon May 22, 2017 7:00 pm

We are a smaller Chevy store in an area of citrus groves and cattle ranchers. We have customers come in and ask for Toyo and Nitto tires, we do not push them. The problem is it's killing our sales loyalty %. Aside from a parts counter ticket, which the owner is not for doing, is there any way around this? I have not tried the same day adjuster, any ideas?

Tell GM to suck it and just take care of the customer is all you really can do.

Depending on your DMS, there are ways around some of GM's ridiculousness though....

Put them on a parts counter tickie... that's what we do.

Not so much a problem with tires, but aftermarket reman and used parts as dictated by service contract companies.

I think that any GM part that GM's PDC chain does not stock, should not even be in the calculation. Tires, Oil, Accessories, Chemicals just to name a few that really hurt.

Any item that will count against sales loyalty, I bill out on a parts invoice. That has been working for me.

Bill them as a Sublet under parts for that RO. Doesn't affect your loyalty plus you still get profit

Or you can use the GOG function of R & R or Automate. Not sure about CDK or others. You'll have to have your office direct it to the correct account though. It can be done.

ZEP got it, I have a line in ReyRey 3629 for misc parts that pulls from 242 instead of 244. You can specify each line in 3629 to any account you want, then you can bill in GOG and it wont affect loyalty
