Credit Upon Shipment?

Is this still available? I used to do it several years ago but can't seem to remember the procedure.

I do see a link to 'Credit Upon Shipment' within EPIC, but it doesn't function the way I would expect.

Contacted PDC and they stated a few dealers were still utilizing this process but they had to get back to me as to how.

Anyone?

I use it and it works great. Just put the application number and if you do not have any quantity adjustments just check the No Exceptions box, otherwise if you have quantity adjustments you enter the part number and the new quantity you are returning or if you went from one to zero just enter a zero in the quantity field. Credits are processed much quicker this way.

I have used it ever since it became available. I use it for RIM returns and my own monthly returns. If my memory serves me correctly it is not meant for cso,
damage, or shipped in error returns. You get your credit the next day. I also fax my field scraps to the PDC and get next day credit on those also.
I have never found the app in Parts Workbench, only in EPIC so I wonder if it may go away someday as more stuff gets moved to Workbench.

Well, went ahead and entered my monthly RIM and a monthly today.

We'll see if everything went a-ok tomorrow.

I knew it was there somewhere, I just couldn't find any doc laying out procedure.

Can someone expand on this please? I found the screen but I'm not sure it's what I think it is. Do you submit a return and then go into this screen and fill out the form and get your credit sooner?

Worked out just like I remember. Just got away from it for a while.

LOK1: As soon as your return is picked up, you input the numeric portion of the return number in the appropriate box, check the 'no exceptions' if you have none, and submit. If you have corrections, leave the 'no exceptions' box blank and enter the adjusted quantities.

Once completed, you get your credits in the next day or two depending on what time of day you submit.

Is this just for new returns, or can you use for cores too?
