2012 TAHOE RF AXLE HOUSING

Has anyone come across this and what happened if you did? 2012 Tahoe cr258235 right front axle housing catalog lists 1st design 15270854 (has single flange seal 3 and 3/4") and 2nd design 22942970 (has duel seal flange 2 and 3/4") but the only seal listed is 22761722 which is about 2 and 1/2" diameter. if they are different how can there be only 1 seal listed.

On the same vehicle, the axle shafts are also first and second design...but they give you a casting number to look for to differentiate between designs. I would find the casting number from the axle notes and apply it to the housing.

Thanks Scott I did see that, my concern is how can they both take the same seal, bearing and gasket and be different, based on casting # I have 2nd design which is source and doesn't show to be available the 1st design is in my local pdc.
