Remote Start Kit

We sold a remote start kit to a customer and now he's asking to return it. The question is, could he have had this programmed somewhere using the code and bought some aftermarket remotes and now wanting to return it because it's --- " NOT WORKING ". Is there a way to see if that code has been accessed by a GM dealer anywhere ?

VIS it to see if it shows history of being done elsewhere. Only GM dealers can use the programming code, and they are going to report it as added to the vehicle.

Most shops can use VIS via AC Delco. We sell the kits and local shops install and program them. They can do pretty much anything a dealership can. Sad

I would consider telling them NO.

If package has been open it is no longer returnable. IMHO

No returns on electrical parts - sorry

Your parts invoices probably have that right on them too..
