I buy all of our oil in bulk and sale it with the quart part number. I take the 687 upfront. My sales loyalty is showing unrecognized purchases. I buy every drop from GM on the program. I know the problem is the part numbers I use but why is that any of GM's business? We are in a rural part of Florida and we sell a lot of Nitto's and Toyo tires that are not on the program but we sell them only if the customer request it. I know I could bill the tires on a parts ticket but that's cheating in their book. It just feels like this program is completely unfair to the dealers.
Just venting.

Why don't you charge out the part #'s you get invoiced for on your GM invoice?

It is based on Dollar amount not quantity, so if you are taking 687 on the difference of bulk and case goods you are always going to be this way.

I am a Chrysler Dealer and not GM, but my Tireworks Plus Rep (Dealertire), told me the manufacturers cannot force you to buy tires from them because they are not exclusive to the vehicle when it is built. So i use the Mopar number (as long as they have one), when I bill out tires. I do buy 90% of my tires on the program, so I am not trying to sleeze my way around our Rewards Program.
I would ask your rep if this is the case with GM.
