So who gives ReyRey the information that is used in SPG? Does it come direct from GM?

Why doesn't it show the same number as my snap on catalog?

2014 NEW impala rear hub. My catalog shows 13589509. No new cross reference listed in EPIC.

SPG supposedly shows 13580135

I can't find a link between the two parts....

Am I missing something?

I looked at this the other day. Engineering notes shows a connection but nothing else does. GM has been making things about as clear as mud lately.

PART NUMBER. 13589509. HUB. WILL BE REPLACED BY PART NUMBER. 13580135. ALSO THE HUB INCLUDES THE ENCODER. OR RELUCTOR RING. WHICH ARE NOT SERVICED SEPARATELY.

SPG has their own teams looking up parts for every vehicle that they sell this for. Chevy, Honda, Toyota, VW, Mercedes etc. We've found errors and it's a pain in the a$$ to call them and get it fixed, and even more of a pain to do it yourself.

I don't trust them, do you? We check every part because we cant afford to quote low and eat parts price differences.

Ate another one yesterday.
SPG spec'ed axle seals we had in stock. Tech tore down car, axles out of trans, but parts were wrong and of course we didn't have them.
Called SPG and they responded that they "were aware of the wrong number and updated system at the beginning of the month. It should be fixed on your next update. We apologize for the inconvenience."
