I have to compile a report of all GM accessories that I have in stock so I have been playing around with enhanced report generator but cant seen to come up with anything that works.
Also I don't have them in a separate source.

'ADD' a new report in RPG and set the criteria to SC = 01 (Non-RIM Managed) with Source = 106. Also, set to get parts with OH >= 1. If you haven't moved any accessories out of the CDK default sourcing of 106, it will get you somewhat of the results your looking for.

If you export it to Excel, you can filter it out and remove all the groups, bins, etc. that aren't relevant to pinpoint your accessories.

Maybe that'll help a bit.
Good Luck

Ask (demand) CDK to give you a breakdown of field ABCD on the master. There are two sub-fields in A, a two digit field in B, a two digit field in C, and two sub-fields in D.

Often you will find some very helpful coding of what data appears in those fields and you can use English to get the specific information you need/want. It's too bad CDK doesn't teach this anymore, but it is there. If you need more specific help, try miknik@aol.com. Some responses I won't post to DealersEdge when it applies to a single dealer.

In conjunction with what Mike says, this will work on CDK systems "WITH ABCD EQ "[A]"

And by the way to find tires put a T where the A is.

Thank you all!! I was able to use [A] for the GM accessories and [E] for Chrysler on two separate reports.

For those that have a link to Service Connect in CDK, you can search for Parts Pricing Facts Sheet and you should find a PDF file for the GM auto/truck combined GK QR cards. It will have the complete breakdown of the price file and all the codes.
