What's the best way for my franchised store to market that we have the best prices for all makes and all models? Facebook? Newspaper? Radio?

I would definitely go the Facebook route. It has made a big impact on advertising ROI at our dealership and it does seem to be a game changer in today's
marketing world. Twitter works well to because people seem to be addicted to social media sites for news, gossip, etc...

Don't waste your time on radio or newspaper advertising - it is dead and its time has passed.

Hope this helps.

We just ran a nice size ad in our local paper for 3 days showing the GM rebates on tires and brakes. I do not believe we received any calls so far. We are looking at Facebook, I know our sales team has been using it and it seems to be working pretty well for them. I think you get more bang for your buck WITH FACEBOOK. That will be a November expense.

I would also consider the direct route; data from your own DMS. Email to all of your prospective and dead customers is very effective especially with a colorful, clean advertisement. Grab all customers data from your Sales department and clean it against the Service list. [b] A note of caution:[b] Do not send thousands at once, some of your customers email services will flag your account as a spammer. Also remember to create an UNSUBSCRIBE link in your messages which will reduce software flagging.
