Inventory

Can't seem to get a straight answer from ADP/CDK so I'll ask here.
Was just informed that the powers that be suddenly want a parts inventory conducted after I was not to do it.
To late to do it for this month, and end of next month isn't going to work either.
We have normally done this at the end of the month (always september). Is there any reason we can't do this end of month?
It can be done in the evening or off days so as not to affect business.

That's exactly what I thought.
The person in charge can pay the office extra for sorting out the mess.
I tried to get the owner to let me do an inventory earlier. Guess the auditor wants to know why it wasn't done.
