Global has been down for the past hour and half.. Not going to get better. I do feel your pain about 2018 parts on backorder. I have a car down since October in my body shop waiting for a 1/4 panel, their answer now is I won't see it till probably March, this is after getting SPAC answerbacks for the past month saying it would be shipped the following week. I blew a gasket at my rep who wants a year end BIG order to put her over the top so she can get her trip. I told her she wants a big order? Get me my $1200 quarter panel and I will add another $4g on top of it with a filter order.. Guess she won't be going to Cancun or wherever all the reps are being sent this year who hit their numbers..

From our PDC:

Global Connect has been down since 12:45pm. IT in Michigan working on it. Don't duplicate orders. Check answerbacks before retransmitting once system comes back up.

With all the money they are screwing us out of with PASE maybe they could spend a little and get a back up hamster to power Global. Multi BILLION dollar company with a 30 cent web site. I should have taken the Advance Auto position.

Trust me 476 Advance is worse! Roanoke controls everything from Lights to heat/ac. In the summer the AC ranges from 78-84 degrees never any lower, and they keep the temp in the winter at 55-60 max.. Lights go on half hour before opening and turn off half hour after closing you do not control the lights so if you are having a problem closing out the day the lights go off and you have to hit the "Emergency 30 minute extra switch" to put the lights back on, if you miss a deposit one day it's an automatic write up for the General Manager. If a driver goes 10mph over the speed limit it's a write up and 15mph over the speed limit automatic termination. There is a whole lot more that has to be dealt with on a daily basis that is just not worth saying. The only thing the same as the General is all of the Corporate morons don't know anything about cars and have probably NEVER worked on one, or worked in a Parts store. Experience talking here...
