Part number 19117206

Postby nbeckhart23 » Fri Jan 05, 2018 5:52 pm

Need some help this part number 19117206 is a starter generator stator for a 2006 Chev Silverado which is a hybrid. My counterperson has looked at all the sources he knows with no luck. On global shows disconn and nothing on the oec locator. If any one on here has run into this or actually has one I would sure like to know and as always thanks for all the help and advice.

I ran into this a few years back. The only way we were able to obtain parts was through TAC. After hours and hours of b.s. tests. They basically said the customer better have a blank check for this repair.

dealt with this about one year ago, and there is no resolution. none.

your only hope is to find someone parting out a Hybrid truck before the truck gets to the recycle yard. they are gone in a heart beat... be wary of cracks in the stator, those cannot be repaired, or so we found out. I think Union Pacific was the largest buyer of the GM hybrid trucks... maybe check out their website for asset liquidation auctions ??

we found a few rebuilders, but they charge close to $2000 to rebuild with no guaranty.

happy hunting...

Greenthumb do you happen to know or remember the companies that do rebuild them even though it's no guarantee it's worth a shot.

Basically, the vendors with the skill want the whole job, not a bench job... can't say I don't blame them.

Had one here a few years ago as well, never did find anything for it after multiple months trying. Finally gave back to customer and basically said "Good Luck".
