Just making sure, I know awhile back there was a bulletin that all 5w20 dexos applications were to use 0w20 dexos, But why the heck does a 2017 New style Acadia still call out 5w20 in the catalog/ in SI and on the cap. Its been a couple years since that bulletin came out and the oil company is still saying they don't have 5w20. Am I missing something?

If you run through the number changes on the part that the catalog calls out, you will finally end at 0W20 in a quart bottle.

As far as why GM keeps putting 5W20 caps on, I have no answer for that. We run into it on occasion with a new lube tech wanting 5W20 Dexos.

Has been replaced by 0W20!
