YEARS AGO WHEN WE WENT WITH BELL AND HOWELL ELECTRONIC CATALOGS WE WERE TOLD ALL PRICING WAS NON NEGOTIABLE.THIS COMING FROM BOTH OUR CHRYSLER PARTS REPS. AND BELL AND HOWELL.MY QUESTION IS "NOW THAT MY CONTRACT SOON EXPIRES" HAS ANYONE FOUND THIS NOT TO BE SO?

Bob,

My renewal comes up in about a year and a half. As you, I'm interested in discounts. However I'm more concerned with the legnth of the contract. A number of franchises are currently working on a web based parts cat.

i talked with the b+h rep yesterday about web based catalog and he told me it was best for small volume (<5k/month sales) but could be subscribed to for $60.00/month with no proprietary hardward purchase.

Bob, to answer your question about price being negotiable with B&H. I have negotiated two purchases from B&H and pricing is most certainly negotiable. The only question is how good you and your dealer are at grinding a vender on price.
