29.99% CSO here I come.

So with PASE the only way to gain return reserve is through oil and CSO purchases. But if your CSO is over 30% for the month you get charged 10% more on CSO orders the next month.
Challenge accepted!

I don't know how they can enforce this (well maybe I can) with all the backorders you have to scramble to find or upgrade to CSO just to see them this century. Not to mention all the recalls you have to order CSO and the inability of REEM to keep your shelf filled. There is so much crap held at 076 058 and 075 how else can you get this stuff. What a mess............

just to clarify, that CSO penalty would be for dealers that do not hit the PASE qualifiers -- RIM compliance, RIM purchase loyalty, and GM sales loyalty.
(see page 8 of the most recent release of the PASE guidelines).

gt really does not like the so-called benefits of this new program

Unless they've changed something , they only charge you the 10% if you are on Non-RIM terms. RIM-terms dealers get 1% return reserve on CSO orders , but no discounts , and the 10% hit would not apply.

Thank god. Scared the crap out of me. We ran 30.64% in March.
We order everything but chemicals (QPO) and trailer hitches for the recall CSO in order to get as much reserve as possible.

  what are you guys talking about? You will still earn 1% reserve with RIM purchases as well!! They are really being generous to us!! Especially since the industry average of NATURALLY-OCCURING OBSOLESCENCE accrues at 5 to 6 percent per year, IF you're doing an AWESOME JOB of managing your inventory! And YES, there are other manufacturers that are covering that 6% AND BETTER still to this day. Let's see .... some simple math ... SO, if 30% of our monthly sales are from RIM parts, and we use up the full 29.99% available for CSO orders ... that leaves 40% that we have to get from other dealers, distributors, etc. Oh WAIT !! That won't work to keep us above 90% PURCHASE LOYALTY from the general !!

They should be shot! If only the dealers understood how these demands are making us LOSE MONEY EVERY DAY, and in all our spare time we'll concentrate on how to play the stupid constraints that GM is putting us through. But that'll never happen because the dealership owners feel as though we all MUST play the reindeer games so that we have the pleasure of selling GM's fine vehicles!!

So if I am PASE qualified and go over 30% CSO I will not be charged 10% for the next month? I don't see GM leaving a loophole like that. If so everyone will order CSO only.

That's correct, if you meet the minimum RIM terms your CSO percentage is irrelevant. With a collision center we run 30%-45% CSO at times, never any penalties.

Are PASE terms the same? RIM TERMS were only to qualify RIM Compliance 85% or more and RIM Purchase Loyalty 80% or more. IF PASE TERMS are more than this, where does it say so. I know the Sales Loyalty had to be 80% or more to get payout , but you did not need to hit that one to be on" RIM TERMS" and avoid the CSO overcharge. ARE you saying that the Sales Loyalty is now going to affect the CSO extra charge and will take away a RIM generated Monthly Return. IF so I may as well go home. THIS HIGHWAY ROBBERY.
