2014 Cad SRX 19300994 wheel fiasco

2014 Cad SRX 19300994 wheel fiasco

Postby ehiatt » Wed Apr 11, 2018 1:04 pm

I'm trying to order a 19300994 wheel for a 2014 Cad SRX. Of course they are on backorder. GlobalConnect (when its working) will not let me make a SPAC case. Call SPAC. Here is the conversation:

SPAC: "That part is an accessory. We can't make a SPAC case."
Me: "It is the only wheel listed to this car per the VIN."
SPAC: "Sorry. You can buy one from ADI."
Me: "No ADI on the locator shows to have it, so no, I can't."
SPAC: "Sorry. Is there anything else I can help you with"
Me: 'Nope."

I called back a second time and was told basically the same thing. Meanwhile, our customer still has a car in his shop needing a wheel.
Anyone got any ideas? Other than to run screaming out the door. :o I have bills to pay.

I had this happen to me a few months back. I pretty much got the same run around you got from SPAC so I called my ADI and they got me the wheel. Wasn't next day but I got it in a reasonable time.. You might try calling your ADI..

I would contact your DMA and have them force a SPAC case.

A bunch of dealers show the part on the locator.

I have one in stock.

I didn't call our ADI. I probably should. As you say, they should just force a SPAC case. Not sure why it's such a big deal this time.
The salesperson says he found one he can buy. If that falls thru, do you want to sell yours?

One thing I did learn from SPAC. You can tell a part's category by looking on Global:

If the product line code is 32W it is an accessory. If it's 22W it's a performance part.
