GM price update mid month

Why does GM do price updates on oil and coolant mid month?
Example is coolant price update is in effect 4/20 why cant it just hit the price update for end of month?????????

They do not know or care how a dealership or any other business runs other than their own.
Watch your appreciation/lifo reports as they may not capture the mid month change depending on your DMS and/or how you run the report.

Just curious, how come I never see any complaints about Ford on here? I wonder if it is because they do not have the issues we have with the general.
