Just a heads up for GM dealers. Plant 87 Ypsilanti lost power on Monday and no freight went out. They had an ETA of 10:00 last night to be back up and running but I just got word that they are still with out power and the new ETA is 1:00 today. I haven't seen any message from GM so I thought I'd let everyone know here.

our plant "dealer liason" sent out this message to all dealers serviced by our PDC yesterday about noon. She is a gem of person.

Subject: Ypsilanti is out of power

Good morning all,
Ypsilanti has a power outage they were not able to ship Dealer orders lastnight and the power is not expected to come back on until 10:00 PM tonight.
There will be a delay in shipping customer orders. Please do not contact the site for tracking as they are not able to provide any information at this time.

SPAC,
Please put an upfront message stating the situation.

EPIC / Parts Workbench,
Please make note of the situation so the customers are aware.

the latest update on the plant 87 power outage and recovery plan....

Subject: [EXTERNAL] Rancho PXD DDS Service Disruption 4-19-2018

Rancho PXD Service Disruption Status as of Thursday 04/19/17 at 12:00h PST

1. Summary of the Service Disruption – On Monday 4/16/18 Ypsilanti Plant 087 lost power, causing all shipments from Ypsilanti to be delayed. This includes shipments that flow through the DDS Cross Docks.

2. Current Status – Ypsilanti has restored power as of Wednesday 4/18/18 at 1330, and shipping operations have resumed. Ypsilanti is working through the orders in FIFO order and is planning picking and shipping operations during the weekend to get to current status on shipping. XPO Operations is securing additional transportation to move the shipments from Ypsilanti to the regional DDS cross docks to mirror the shipping plan.

3. Summary of the Recovery Plan – As a result of the power outage, cross docks will receive additional trailers to process daily. Each cross dock will adhere to FIFO for processing all Ypsilanti freight. Additional manpower will be allocated accordingly to facilitate the timely processing of loads. This plan will continue until all sites are current on referral trailers from Ypsilanti.

4. Equipment / Manpower Status - No equipment updates at this time. Manpower needs will be assessed and staffing will be adjusted to accommodate the increase in referral freight.

5. Dealer Communication – Dealers have been informed of power outage and told to expect delays on all referral freight coming from 087 Ypsilanti.

6. Service Disruption Communication – Service disruption updates will be communicated daily and processing goals will be outlined in the Daily Referral Plan until all inbound has been received and delivered to our dealers.

7. Next Update
Next email update 4/20/18 at 13:00 PST.

SPAC told me this morning to delay filing shortage claims from 87 for 3 days. They could not tell me where my part (was not coming from 87) but said not to file claims :x   :x
