do you follow it? As far as the 129/139/149$
Seems like some dealers do and some don't.

We do not. We don't stock batteries. We have a delco distributor across the street so we call them when we have the need. That being said, we don't pitch the advantage series. Pricing begins at
149.00 for PS, 189.00 for PG, and 210 and up for some of the AGM and rare batteries. We sell plenty of batteries.

We don't follow that pricing structure, yet.

I typically average anywhere between 34% GP to 45% GP on batteries.

We get serviced by a Delco battery truck from our local ADI. What he doesn't have, the ADI ships to us on their truck.

Suposedly other dealers around here sell their batteries for even more than I do.

We follow it on only the PS and PG batt. AGM cost what they cost so it varies on each but majority are warranty when we sell one. We do not push the advantage either unless the customer asks for it. Depending on your supplier and application you can make up a few $ by checking the different part numbers for each group. For example a 48PG, 48HPG and 48PGHR. Our local dist stocks all 3 and there is $15-20 difference in cost. We sell quite a few batteries and stock around 25. At my store I have a batteries unlimited next door, NAPA, ADV, Autozone and orielly's within 2 miles so that pricing seems to keep us level with the parts houses.
