Addin Wi-Fi to older truck

I have a customer that found an article on the internet (so it has to true) that GM is or will be offering something (module, router???) to make a mobile hot spot so people can use wi-fi on older trucks. His happens to be a 2012 K3500 has anyone heard of this? If so do you have part number, bulletin number phone number anything so I can get this customer handled.

22871071 but I don't think it's designed to work on that model year. You also have to note"additional fees required".

You are correct for 2014-2019 but the real kicker is after checking 3 screens it id discontinued!

sould be 13-19 and YOUR LOCAL MONOPOLY( ADI-SEMAC) SHOULD CARRY IT.
