Driveshaft Assy GM # 25776620

Have a customer with a broken down 2002 3500HD pickup. Rear shaft yoke and hanger bearing are broken. Part # 15016994 is printed on the shaft in the truck, VIN lookup shows that as being the OEM number, with the new part # being 25776620. Does not show as discontinued, but also apparently is backordered from GM.
Any suggestions as to a possible other number that works, or how to get my hands on one?

They sell the bearing 88934865 and yoke 19133297 separate. Is either driveshaft piece itself damaged?
If that's the case, either SPAC and pray, or if you have a local custom driveshaft shop, or a Fleet Pride nearby, they may be able to weld a new tube end or custom fab a new shaft section, get a yoke and the carrier bearing assy.

The yoke end of the rear shaft that meets the pinion yoke on the truck is wrecked. Apparently it was driven for quite some time with a bad u-joint and it finally came apart.

Dorman 946-304,just used 1 today for 25776621 gm didn't have(946-074)New, worked perfect.Best place for price is StockwiseAuto,bout $800 inc. shipping.2-3 day delivery
